In the day garden

Wow wee! Three days of sunshine! How lucky can we be? We took advantage of the gorgeous weather and made a visit to the Ian Potter Children’s Garden!

There’s lots of interesting activities / features hidden away within the Garden to uncover! Here’s what we found on this trip:

A lovely shallow pond feature….

Next to the pond was a little rock pool where kids could wade in! Very interesting! Something for Bugs to try perhaps when she’s a bit older!

And right next to that, a beautiful picnic spot where the cherry blossom trees were in full bloom!

There was a quirky set of bronze sculptures near the entrance which we missed on the way in….

And best of all, veggie patches where visiting school children or pretty much anyone could land a helping hand in planting / watering!

Looks like we’ve found a brand new place to hang out in the Spring! Till tomorrow everyone!
